Front-of-House (FOH)

Host/Hostess — Greets guests upon arrival, manages reservations, assigns seating, and maintains the waitlist. Sets the first impression for the dining experience.

Server/Waiter/Waitress — Takes food and beverage orders, answers menu questions, delivers meals, and ensures guests have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.

Busser/Food Runner — Clears and resets tables, assists servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guests, and keeps the dining area clean and organized.

Bartender — Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, interacts with bar guests, and may also manage bar inventory and cleanliness.

Barback — Supports the bartender by restocking supplies, washing glassware, and keeping the bar area clean and ready during service.

Back-of-House (BOH)

Line Cook — Prepares and cooks menu items at an assigned station (grill, sauté, fry, etc.) during service, following recipes and plating standards.

Prep Cook — Handles all pre-service food preparation such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and making sauces to support line cooks during service.

Dishwasher/Steward — Washes dishes, utensils, and cookware, maintains kitchen cleanliness, and ensures clean supplies are always available to the kitchen team.
